It’s hard to believe we are celebrating ten years of The She-Suite Summit. A decade of transformation, growth, and shared purpose. As I sit to reflect on this milestone, I’m filled with gratitude—for you, for this community, and the incredible journey we have been on together.
When we hosted our very first event, Women in the Spotlight: Secrets from The She-Suite, I had no idea what was ahead. It was held at The Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City, and despite all the preparation, I found myself running late because I was in pain, so much so that I missed my hair appointment, and barely got dressed in time. I felt embarrassed and completely unpolished. But in that moment, I had to make a choice—pivot and push through or let fear paralyze me. I chose to step up and own the moment, and in doing so, I found a new level of resilience and an audience in that small room that needed me as much as I needed them. That moment, though unexpected, set the foundation for what has now become ten years of impact for The She-Suite Summit.
This year’s theme, Chart Your Course: Ignite Change Within, couldn’t feel more fitting. It’s a call to action—an invitation to reflect on where we’ve been, embrace where we are, and boldly step into what’s next. To change the world, we must first change ourselves. To create change we must first embrace a new skill – agility. It’s about anchoring on purpose while having the courage to lean into fear and let go in a way that inspires others to do the same. That’s the heart of a winner—and the heart of this community.
In this special anniversary issue of The She-Suite Magazine, we celebrate a decade of change by sharing the stories, lessons, and milestones that have shaped this journey. You’ll hear from alumni who have redefined what’s possible in their careers and lives, leaders who have courageously faced transformation, and champions driving impact in their industries, organizations, and communities. You’ll hear guest contributors from our outstanding community. We love to elevate the voices of our community with just-in-time content. These are stories of resilience, agility, vision, and purpose—stories that remind us of the power we hold when we lead from within.
As you turn these pages, I invite you to reflect on your decade of change. What has transformed your life? What have you learned about yourself, your leadership, and your capacity to create change? And most importantly, how will you chart your course for the next chapter?
This milestone is a chance to reflect on the progress we’ve made and to embrace the opportunities ahead with renewed focus and commitment. It’s a moment to lean into the power of community, share our stories, and support one another in the pursuit of purpose-driven leadership.
